Rakesh Sinha

Rakesh is the Trailblazer Entrepreneurial CEO of an Innovative GCC Company and the founder of pioneering Industry Platform. He was very recently honoured as the “People’s CEO of the Year” at the 9th Edition of PeopleFirst HR Excellence Awards in Dubai. A seasoned professional with entrepreneurial experience of over 2 decades in GBS/ GCC Advisory & Operations, Business Process Transformation and Technology space. Rakesh is well-recognized in the industry and has been felicitated by leading and reputable media houses as the ‘Young Entrepreneur with difference’, ‘Pioneer’, ‘Thought Leader’, ‘GCC & Transformation Guru’ in the Business Services space. He has been honored as one of the Top 30 Influential Young Entrepreneurs (2016) by the Insight Success magazine and featured on their cover story, and as India’s Greatest Leaders 2017-18 – ‘Pride of the Nation’.

He has received the ‘Most Promising Business Leader in Asia’ recognition by Economic Times, Times Group. Rakesh has been featured in ET Now at the Economic Times CEO Conclave. He was one of the youngest to be invited as Member Management Council of Delhi Management Association. As the co-convenor at AICC (Australia India Chamber of Commerce Financial Services) (Fintech) National Industry Group, Rakesh champions cross-border collaboration and innovation. Rakesh founded SSF Global in 2011 as a pioneering industry platform to create/ disseminate knowledge for excellence in GCC and build the ecosystem in Global India, authored several pioneering research reports and books like first-of-its-kind book on GBS/ GCC ‘BPM in Global India – The Inflection Point for Competitive Advantage’. He spots & shapes the Industry Trends and led many customized Transformation initiatives such as GCC & Sourcing Model Strategy, Benchmarking, Location Strategy, RFP & Deal Mgmt., BPR, Offshoring & consolidation opportunities for 10000+ FTEs, leading transitions across F&A, HR, SCM, CLM, IT both in Manufacturing & Services domains.

Rakesh has been part of setting up/ growing 15+ India & Global Shared Service Centers, and 100+ Transformational engagements delivering business impact of over US$400mn to clients. Rakesh not only mentors & coaches his team, as a part of his social responsibilities, he also mentors young leaders from leading Management Institutes. He is frequently invited by various Institutions of repute like IIMs, MDI, IMT, Department of Finance and Business Economics (Delhi University), Amity, ACCA, etc. as a Guest Speaker to address the students and share his experiential insights. He is an IT Graduate, acquired mgmt. skills from IIM-C; one of the few leaders globally certified as an Authorized Evaluator by Carnegie Mellon, USA for eSCM and a certified ‘Program Coach’ from Canada.
