June 2026: Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (GSCI), the India‑based capability hub of the global banking and financial services Group Société Générale, has announced the appointment of Ranjeet Santhakumar as its Chief Executive Officer.

Ranjeet, with over 21 years of experience at GSCI, has been instrumental in driving technology transformation, operational excellence, and organizational development across the enterprise. His leadership journey reflects a deep commitment to strengthening GSCI’s role as a strategic partner to the global group.

Before assuming the CEO role, Ranjeet served as Co‑CEO and held several key leadership positions, including Head of the Investment Banking Unit and CIO – Investment Banking. Throughout his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in shaping GSCI’s evolution from a delivery center into a capability‑led hub supporting global banking operations.

This appointment establishes Société Générale’s continued investment in India as a critical pillar of its global strategy.
