Hyderabad | 16 February 2026: French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi has announced a massive expansion of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, doubling the workforce to 4,500 employees and adding over 2.7 lakh square meters of workspace at its Hitech City campus. They are positioning the Indian operations as a primary engine for global R&D, digital health innovation, and intelligent automation
Scaling the Frontier: A Hub of Global Significance
The expansion forms part of Sanofi’s €400 million investment commitment toward India capability centers through the end of the decade. Originally projected to scale to 2,600 employees, the upward revision to 4,500 signals a deeper integration of India into Sanofi’s global operating model.
