Priyaranjan Jha

15 September 2026: Sandoz has appointed Priyaranjan Jha as its new Global Head of GCCs and Country President, Sandoz India. He will be based in the Greater Hyderabad Area.

Taking on this dual mandate, Priyaranjan will manage the growth and evolution of the company’s Global Capability Centers (GCCs) across Hyderabad, Prague, Mexico City, and Madrid. His role will focus on scaling these operations as an integral part of how the business runs, aligning with the company’s strategic focus on pioneering patient access to affordable medicine.

He has extensive experience in capability scaling and business services. Prior to joining Sandoz, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Business Services (GBS) at Iron Mountain, where he managed enterprise-wide GBS strategy and transformation. He also serves as a Global Advisory Board member at the Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON) and has been an active angel investor focusing on the healthcare and employability sectors since 2018.

Reflecting on his transition, Priyaranjan shared on LinkedIn: “Delighted to share that I’ve joined Sandoz as Global Head of GCCs and Country President, Sandoz India, reporting to our CFO Remco Steenbergen. A few things pulled me here. Sandoz gets affordable medicine for people at a scale few companies can match, and its entire growth strategy is built around one purpose: pioneering access for patients.”

By combining enterprise-wide capability development with regional leadership, his role will center on optimizing global service delivery across international hubs and supporting Sandoz’s overarching mission of expanding access to healthcare.
