July 2026: LPL Financial, a global wealth management and advisory space, has announced the appointment of Ramesh Kaza as the Country Head for its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India. This strategic leadership addition marks a pivotal step in the firm’s overarching global delivery and innovation roadmap, signaling a strong commitment to scaling high-end enterprise capabilities.

Ramesh brings a formidable pedigree in global financial services. Throughout his decades-long career, he has successfully built and scaled massive technology organizations and cross-functional capabilities. Prior to joining LPL Financial, he served as the Chief Information Officer for India at State Street, driving enterprise strategy and overarching technology governance. His extensive background also includes a nearly 16-year tenure at Bank of America, where he held multiple roles of Enterprise Chief Information Officer and Global Delivery Head-alongside foundational leadership positions at Fidelity Investments and GE Capital.

Beyond his corporate mandates, Ramesh is a highly respected figure in India’s broader tech ecosystem, currently serving as the Secretary General of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and formerly as an IT Advisor for the Government of Telangana.

Reflecting on his new executive mandate and the journey ahead, Kaza emphasized that the vision for the India GCC extends far beyond a traditional operational footprint. “What makes this opportunity especially meaningful is that we are building a success story from ground up-not simply establishing a function but creating an organization with the potential to shape how LPL delivers value to its clients and advisors globally,” he shared.

Ramesh mentions his decision to join the firm was driven by the senior leadership’s clear and consistent vision to shift the offshore paradigm, praising the organization’s genuine commitment to empowering regional executives to build strong, diverse teams early in the journey. By establishing cross-functional units spanning Business, Product, Technology, and Operations right from day one, he aims to ensure the center operates as a truly integrated global organization that becomes a core part of the firm’s innovation agenda. Acknowledging that building a new hub is a challenging yet deeply energizing process, Kaza affirmed that the foundations being laid today across culture, talent strategy, and ways of working will define the center’s global impact for years to come.
