CHENNAI | 28 July 2026: Nordex Group India has formally committed to expanding its footprint in Chennai by establishing a dedicated Engineering and R&D Centre. Cemented through a facilitation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchanged with Guidance Tamil Nadu in the presence of the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru C. Joseph Vijay, this deployment marks another significant milestone in the company’s India growth strategy.
Crucially, this is an expansion rather than a maiden entry. By building heavily upon its already existing Global Capability Centre (GCC) and manufacturing base in Chennai, the renewable energy leader is deliberately concentrating its advanced engineering talent. This expanded facility will further strengthen Nordex’s capability to design, engineer, validate and optimize next-generation onshore wind turbine technologies for global markets.
