10 September 2026: McCain Foods India has appointed Aditya Krishna as its new Managing Director.

In this role, Aditya will manage the company’s overall business operations and growth strategy in India. His responsibilities include strengthening partnerships with agricultural growers, developing potato varieties suited to local conditions, and advancing community-focused programs such as Project Shakti and Project Utthaan.

He brings nearly two decades of experience in sales and marketing across India and Southeast Asia. Prior to this appointment, he served as Commercial Director at McCain Foods India for over three years, where he managed retail business growth, brand development, and consumer-focused product initiatives. Before joining McCain, his career included key leadership roles at Mondelez International, Cadbury India Limited, and MyGlamm | Good Glamm Group.

Commenting on his appointment, Aditya stated: “Over the years, McCain has built a deep legacy in the country partnering with growers, pioneering the development of French Fries potato varieties suited to Indian conditions, contributing to the growth of the food processing industry, and supporting communities through initiatives such as Project Shakti and Project Utthaan. I am grateful for the opportunity to build on this strong foundation, and equally excited about the road ahead as we continue to grow the category, strengthen the McCain brand, and create long-term value for our growers, customers, consumers, and communities.”
