
BENGALURU | 13th July 2026: Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) has announced Luc Bernard as the Chief Executive Officer of Natixis Services in India. In this leadership capacity, Luc will steer the growth and strategic trajectory of the firm’s dedicated technology and innovation hub in Bengaluru. His primary mandate centers on accelerating the center’s development and fostering deeper operational alignment with the financial institution’s overarching global processes.
Luc brings nearly twenty years of diverse industry expertise spanning Global Capability Center (GCC) management, software engineering, financial markets, and enterprise digital transformation. Notably, his professional journey is deeply connected to the Bangalore hub, as he was highly instrumental in its foundational setup. From 2021 until 2025, he served as the hub’s Executive Director and Head of CIB Operations and IT, while simultaneously sitting on its Board of Directors. Following this tenure, he transitioned to Paris to serve as the Head of IT Production for Natixis Investment Managers before returning to helm the India franchise. His earlier career featured technical software development roles at prominent firms including Société Générale and Partners Advisers SA.
Stepping into the top executive role, Luc will focus on transforming the Bengaluru facility into a fully synchronized engine of international delivery. By utilizing his extensive background in technological architecture, data strategy, and offshoring frameworks, he aims to build resilient, high-performance teams capable of driving complex digital solutions. This leadership transition aims to bridge cross-border capabilities seamlessly, ensuring that the innovation emerging from India plays a central role in optimizing the corporate and investment bank’s global operating model.
