June 2026: Levi Strauss & Co. has announced the appointment of Vijay Nair to lead its India Global Talent Hub and Global Capability Centre (GCC), stepping into a critical position focused on scaling capabilities, strengthening regional operations, and delivering sustained impact across the global organization.

With an extensive background in data science, analytics, and artificial intelligence, Vijay brings a record of building and managing large-scale enterprise capabilities. Throughout his career, he has held roles across major global retail organizations, including serving as Senior Director of Data Science & Engineering at Lowe’s India and heading the Analytics Center of Excellence at Tesco Bengaluru. In these capacities, he managed comprehensive analytics functions spanning customer strategy, merchandising, digital transformation, and supply chain operations. His appointment is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing Levi Strauss & Co.’s global delivery strategy. It will reinforce the brand’s focus on embedding advanced data analytics, strategic planning, and specialized talent into its core operational infrastructure.
