HCA Healthcare has launched its first Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, marking the company’s first operational site outside the United States. Located in Raidurg, the facility spans 400,000 square feet and reflects an investment of around ₹620 crore (approximately $75 million). The centre is set to become a major employment hub, targeting 3,000 jobs by 2026, with about 1,200 roles already filled across areas such as information technology, supply chain, procurement, human resources, finance and accounting.

The inauguration was led by Telangana’s Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu, who highlighted the move as a strong endorsement of Hyderabad’s advanced infrastructure, skilled workforce and growing prominence in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and life sciences. He pointed out that Hyderabad has emerged as a global destination for such strategic operations, backed by world-class hospitals and hundreds of pharmaceutical firms.

The new GCC aims to support HCA Healthcare’s broader global operations by enhancing digital capabilities and operational efficiency. Its establishment is expected to deepen Hyderabad’s role in the global healthcare innovation ecosystem, creating opportunities for local talent and reinforcing the city’s reputation as a leading destination for multinational investments.
