Hemant brings an exceptional portfolio of cross-industry expertise spanning global accounting operations, enterprise finance, and shared services transformation. He joins the organization from State Street, where he most recently served as Managing Director of Global Accounting Operations. During his nearly five-year tenure, he spearheaded critical revenue and accounts receivable frameworks, drove major automation initiatives to reduce cycle times, and significantly enhanced enterprise governance and internal controls.
His career trajectory is further anchored by a distinguished tenure at Citi, where he spent over six years and rose to the position of Senior Vice President. His foundational expertise was built through earlier leadership roles, including serving as Finance Controller at JLT Group, where he established the Record-to-Report (R2R) vertical, and as a Management Consultant at Accenture, where he specialized in the setup and transition of Global Business Services (GBS).
Taking command of his new mandate at Ford Motor Company, Hemant will be tasked with leading comprehensive accounting strategies, ensuring rigorous financial compliance, and optimizing global fiscal frameworks.
