Hyderabad | 19 February 2026: Charles Schwab, one of the largest US brokerage and financial services firms, has launched its first India-based Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. Operating as Charles Schwab Services India at Sattva Knowledge City, the center will support mission-critical financial technology platforms, data engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure for global operations.
A Strategic Node for Capital Markets Innovation
The Hyderabad GCC will function as an extension of Schwab’s global technology ecosystem rather than a support-only unit. Core responsibilities include:
- Digital brokerage platform engineering
- Data analytics and trading systems support
- Cybersecurity operations for client account protection
- Cloud infrastructure management
- Financial risk and fraud monitoring systems
