Chennai | June, 2026: Sukumar Bhasker has joined Barry-Wehmiller as the Vice President – Global Competency Center (GCC), based out of Chennai. In this role, he will guide the strategic evolution and capability-building of the Chennai center, enhancing its position as an engine for the company’s global innovation, shared services, and engineering operations.

Bhasker comes to Barry-Wehmiller with more than twenty years of global experience managing Global Business Services (GBS) and GCC setups across regions like India, China, Mexico, and Romania. Most recently, he worked as a Partner in Technology Consulting (GCC/GBS) at EY. His background also includes leading global IT GCC operations at Flex, where he oversaw a large digital transformation and talent footprint.
