23 September 2026: V.Group has appointed Shubpreet Singh as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of V.Ships. In this role, he will direct the company’s global maritime operations, technical management, and customer service delivery across its shipping portfolio.

A Master Mariner with extensive operational and commercial experience, Shubpreet was serving as Senior Managing Director Strategy Delivery at V.Group. His tenure at V.Group also includes serving as Managing Director in Glasgow, Scotland, where he led the Northern Europe & Americas business. Prior to joining V.Group, he held several senior leadership positions based in Singapore, including Managing Director at Wilhelmsen group and Managing Director at OSM Ship Management. His earlier career includes roles as Business Development Director at OSM Maritime Group and General Manager – Offshore at Simpson Spence and Young.

His appointment comes during a period of strategic momentum for V.Group, characterized by expanded customer partnerships and acquisitions amidst significant geopolitical disruptions in global shipping. By aligning his deep maritime industry expertise with operational execution, his leadership will center on maintaining technical management standards, ensuring operational performance, and driving continuous service quality for V.Group’s global customers and partners.
