7 September 2026: Medtronic has appointed Masooma Sandeep as its new Head of Communications for TURMECA Region-led Markets (Türkiye, Middle East, and Central Asia). Based in Dubai, she will manage the company’s communication strategies, marketing initiatives, and corporate affairs across these diverse regional markets.

In this mandate, Masooma will focus on driving regional communication frameworks, engaging stakeholders, and aligning corporate messaging with Medtronic’s broader business objectives. Her role centers on ensuring consistent and effective communication across the three strategic markets in the TURMECA region.

She has over 25 years of experience spanning communications, marketing, business strategy, and corporate affairs. She has been with Medtronic for over six years, progressing through several senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Director of Communications for the Strategic Marketing Enterprise (SME) in EurAsia. Prior to that, her roles at the company included Director of Communications for Asia, and Director of Communications for India & Emerging Markets. Before joining Medtronic, her career included a decade-long tenure at BASF, as well as experience at Diebold Systems.
