HYDERABAD | 7 August 2026: In a strategic move to fortify its global research capabilities and deepen its scientific footprint in the region, Sanofi has appointed Archana Subramanya as the Head of its R&D India Hub. Based out of Hyderabad, this executive addition highlights the biopharmaceutical giant’s aggressive commitment to expanding its core research, development, and innovation operations in India through highly experienced leadership.

To this mandate, Archana brings a formidable portfolio of cross-industry expertise, anchored by over 25 years of leadership experience spanning global drug development, regulatory affairs, clinical development, clinical project management, and clinical data management. She joins the organization following a highly impactful tenure at GSK, where she most recently served as the Head of Global Regulatory Centers. During her time there, she successfully led and scaled complex global capability centers (GCCs) across India, Poland, Egypt, and Mexico. Her strategic oversight was instrumental in strengthening regulatory operations, driving enterprise-wide transformation, and cultivating high-performing global teams.

Taking command of the R&D Hyderabad Hub, Archana steps into a broad mandate focused on establishing robust team structures and agile operational frameworks. Her leadership will be central to driving operational excellence, fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring deep stakeholder engagement across Sanofi’s overarching global R&D ecosystem.
