German financial giant Deutsche Börse is set to open a new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad as part of its expansion strategy. The Telangana government confirmed that the facility will create at least 1,000 jobs in the IT sector over the next two years, strengthening the city’s appeal as an investment destination. A delegation led by the German Consul General to Chennai, Michael Hasper, met with Chief Minister A.

Revanth Reddy to brief him on the project. The chief minister welcomed the move, highlighting Hyderabad’s readiness to support global investors and urging more German firms to invest in industries like IT, pharmaceuticals, and automobile manufacturing. He also expressed interest in promoting Hyderabad as an innovation hub and requested cooperation to introduce German language education and vocational training opportunities for local students. The event reflects Telangana’s broader push to deepen economic ties with Germany and position itself as a centre for advanced technology and innovation.
