Power management company Eaton has launched its first Supply Chain Digital Incubation Lab in Pune, India, as part of its efforts to strengthen supply chain resilience and spur innovation. The facility is located at Eaton’s Pimpri Chinchwad office and is designed to foster ideation and collaboration across teams and technologies. It offers a platform where cloud computing, IoT sensors, drones, virtual reality and other advanced tools can be used to test and showcase proof of concepts for digital solutions that address real supply chain challenges.

The lab supports Eaton’s Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence, underlining the growing need for digital transformation in supply chain operations due to recent disruptions seen worldwide. Company leaders have emphasized the importance of a digital mindset and interdisciplinary collaboration to build future skills and enhance operational agility. By incubating new ideas and technologies, Eaton aims to improve efficiencies, anticipate supply chain risks and build more resilient workflows.
