Boston Consulting Group (BCG), one of the world’s leading management consulting firms, has inaugurated a new office in Hyderabad, marking its fifth location in India after Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai. This opening underscores BCG’s long-term commitment to the Indian market and reflects its strong growth trajectory in the country, where it has maintained a 20 percent compound annual growth rate over the last decade.
Hyderabad was chosen for its vibrant business ecosystem, strong manufacturing base, technology and R&D capabilities, and abundant skilled talent. The city is especially notable for its pharmaceutical industry, contributing around one-third of India’s drug production and one-fifth of exports, and for its role as a hub for global capability centres, startups, and innovation.
BCG leaders say the new office will deepen engagement with clients across key sectors such as industrials, pharmaceuticals, technology, infrastructure, and real estate, and will help support ambitious transformation projects regionally and nationally. The firm also plans to invest in local talent development, recruiting from top institutions and building diverse teams to drive growth and innovation.
