Haryana is moving to position Gurugram as a top choice for Global Capability Centres (GCCs) by launching a new GCC Policy aimed at creating an investment-friendly ecosystem. The state’s Industries and Commerce Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, said during a stakeholder consultation that Gurugram’s strong connectivity and supportive business environment make it attractive for investors.

The government wants to ensure that firms setting up GCCs receive timely support and all necessary facilities to operate successfully. Singh also noted plans to boost infrastructure, including the development of what will be one of the world’s largest Jungle Safari attractions, to further enhance the region’s appeal.

Dr. Amit Agrawal, Commissioner and Secretary of Haryana’s Industries and Commerce Department, explained that the upcoming GCC Policy 2025 will offer a balanced mix of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives designed to make it easier for firms to invest and grow in the state. The policy will include dedicated relationship managers and special support teams to guide investors through the process and help build a robust, long-term GCC ecosystem in Haryana.
