Medical technology company Stryker has expanded its research and development footprint in India with the inauguration of a new facility in Whitefield, Bengaluru, strengthening its presence alongside the existing 220,000 sq ft R&D campus in Gurgaon. The new 140,000 sq ft centre is designed as a modern innovation hub that brings together cross-functional teams and advanced lab infrastructure. It focuses on next-generation technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and product security to accelerate development of healthcare solutions.
Alongside technical labs, the facility features a medical experience centre aimed at enhancing collaboration with healthcare professionals. This space allows clinicians to engage with Stryker’s range of solutions, including ICU beds, stretchers, ambulance cots, and automated external defibrillators, showcasing products that support critical and emergency care.
Ram Rangarajan, Vice President at Stryker Global Technology Center, said the expansion reinforces the company’s mission to innovate, collaborate and deliver products that meet the needs of customers and patients globally. The facility is also positioned to attract top talent and promote excellence in research and development, with a strong emphasis on digital and AI technologies.
